Hai Tien
   GAME OF DEATH

Although GAME OF DEATH was never completed by Bruce Lee, the would-be 5th installment in his martial arts filmography was likely to top even ENTER THE DRAGON. Consider the real martial artists brought in as legitimate foes--and legend has it there were more levels planned before the Hakim (Jabbar) fight with fighters disciplined in Praying Mantis and Wing Chun kung fu, that I'm aware of.

I chose to give tribute to the nunchaku battle who Bruce Lee's friend and student, Guru Dan Inosanto was the opponent. The moving footwork Bruce displayed while making his nunchaku dance is always an impressive sight. It was freestyle, deadly and totally mesmerizing. One point of genius I'd like to mention is Bruce`s choice of colors to wear for the pagoda ascend. Yellow and black. The color combination that is universally synonomous with caution, hazard, warning and danger. What foresight he had immortalizing himself on film along with the idea that Bruce Lee, the man is all these nouns and you can add nuclear to that list too!
